Preliminary Design
The outline of the project layout is built around a large central circular in shape, enclosed by building a ring, from which branch paths radiating and concentric to the large main space, which crosses form the lots where buildings and will alternate green areas.
Inside the ring surrounding the central park are distributed in the areas dedicated to training and research (southwest), and areas intended for residential functions and service to residents (north east). From the ring rise of the towers of different heights and shapes to contain the required tasks.
The Badsha / Jhajjar Campus of AIIMS is envisioned as a knowledge city of the future and a crucible of excellence. It would emulate the ambience of world’s best universities, and would be a symbol of India’s leadership in biomedical and health sciences. The comfort of patients and their families would be at the heart of the design of its healthcare areas. The needs of the students, scholars, residents and scientists would be central to the academic infrastructure and systems. Nurses, doctors, allied professionals, administrative staff .
Program administrative attention and support workforce – all members of the Team AIIMS, shall have their respective space and opportunities.
